We are looking for:

1. Chief Workshop Manager

Reports to : General Manager

Principal Responsibilities

• Help to deliver and promote an atmosphere of excellent Guest Service
• Hire, train, and develop associates to achieve successful results in execution of Guest Service, sales, merchandising, and operational goals
• Floor supervision to ensure all Associates are in place, perform roles, meet dress standards and deliver excellent Guest service
• Support/Coach Associates in performing their job duties
• Accurately perform all opening and closing procedures
• Control cash, safe, and Bear Bucks according to company policy
• Prepare weekly schedules
• Order merchandise & supplies, fill & ship orders for Guests and phone orders
• Track and analyze sales, inventory, and labor
• Create action plans to achieve sales and guest satisfaction goals
• Operate and maintain POS, storybook, backroom computers
• Model, formulate, and enforce all policies as they relate to Guests, Associates, and functions of BABW
• Promote loss prevention and safety practices
• Provide avenue for communication between Guests, Associates, & Bearquarters
• Implement & maintain all programs for the betterment of BABW
• Other tasks and assignments as may be requested
• ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAILY OPERATION OF THE WORKSHOP

Prerequisite Qualifications and Experience
Education:

• ‘A’ level or Polytechnic certified

Experience:

• Min 2-3 yrs experience as a manager in retail environment

Personal attributes:

• Excellent Guest Service, organizational, planning, and problem solving skills
• Work well with people of all ages with an emphasis on children of all ages
• Proficient abilities in computers, written, and oral communication
• Neat, clean appearance
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with an outgoing and friendly personality
• Honest and forthright
• Team player

Language:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin

2. Assistant Workshop Manager

• Assist Chief Workshop Manager in managing store operations
• Perform Chief Workshop Manager duties in his/her absence
• Floor supervision to ensure all Associates are in place, perform roles, meet dress standards and deliver excellent Guest Service
• Support Associates in performing their Guest Service roles
• Accurately perform all opening and closing procedures
• Control cash, safe, and Bear Bucks according to company policy
• Communicate needs for ordering merchandise and supplies to Chief Workshop Manager
• Write, prepare, and ship orders for Guests and phone orders
• Operate and maintain POS, storybook, backroom computers
• Model, formulate, and enforce all policies as they relate to Guests, Associates, and functions of BABW
• Promote loss prevention and safety practices
• Provide avenue for communication between Guests, Associates, & Bearquarters
• o. Help implement & maintain new programs for betterment of company
• Other tasks and assignments as may be requested
